Vor Frelser Kirke Vejle Opening and art lecture: in the café at Kirkehuset, Strandgade 2A, - Time: Tuesday, November 11, 2025 - 7:00 PM

From November 2025 to January 2026, it is the artist, author, and journalist Henriette Muus who will be decorating our Kirkehuset.

On Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 7:00 PM, we will have an art evening and opening at Kirkehuset where Henriette, in addition to talking about the paintings on the walls, will also read her own poems. It will be an evening for all the senses.

Henriette Muus herself says:

"I want to bring the light forward through painting. It is of utmost importance to me that the light has the opportunity to "play." The paintings are created with the idea that they change with the light, just as life changes, but that they always contain the light within themselves, like the light in faith. The past years have been marked by periods of isolation, loneliness, insecurity, anxiety, shocking events and hoarding, war, energy crises, and inflation became part of our daily lives, and I felt I needed to work on something that brought light and gave the viewer time and desire for reflection, which would start the thought process to delve deeper into something. That is why I chose to move into the universe of the Bible."
